How deep it goes
A launchpad for your launchpad. Each pad is a branded front for pump.fun with its own rules, its own cut, and pads of its own inside it.
- 01
Open a pad
A pad is a launchpad with a name, a handle, a logo, a colour and rules. Opening one is free: your wallet signs a message that proves it is yours. No transaction, nothing sent. You can open it on pump.fun directly, or inside any pad that is not in limbo.
- 02
Set the rules
Open pads let anyone launch. Owner-only pads are curated, which is a word people use. Allowlist pads accept a list of wallets. You also pick the pad's cut of creator fees, from 0% up to the cap.
- 03
Someone launches
A launcher fills in name, ticker, image, links and an optional dev buy. PADS uploads the metadata through pump.fun's own IPFS endpoint and builds one transaction: create_v2 plus the dev buy, compiled against pump.fun's lookup table so it fits. The launcher's wallet signs and sends it.
- 04
The vault is the creator
The coin's on-chain creator is a fresh keypair generated for that launch and stored encrypted. pump.fun pays creator fees to that key. It never holds the launcher's tokens or SOL and cannot touch the coin.
- 05
Every 10 minutes, a sweep
For each live coin the sweep reads the curve, claims any creator fees above a small floor into the vault, and pays everyone on the coin's list in one transaction: launcher, the pad, every pad above it, the house. Ground control pays the network fees.
- 06
Everything is on chain
Every claim and payout is a signature you can open on Solscan from the coin's log. The vault address is public. If a sweep skips a round the fees wait in pump.fun's vault; nothing is lost.
The levels
A pad can live inside another pad. Five levels, then limbo. Every pad above a coin takes 2% of that coin's creator fees. The launcher must always keep at least 10%, so a deep pad cannot also be a greedy one.
A pad straight on pump.fun. Where most people stop.
A pad inside a pad. The joke begins.
Three pads deep. Your launchers are paying three people now.
Four pads deep. Nobody remembers who owns what.
Five pads deep. Time moves differently here. No pads can open inside limbo.
The split
pump.fun pays the creator 0.30% of every trade on the bonding curve and 0.05% after graduation. PADS takes a fixed 10%. The pad owner sets their cut when they open the pad. Each pad above takes 2%. The launcher gets the rest. Every coin keeps the split it launched with, whatever the pad changes later.
Of every creator fee pump.fun pays on a coin launched here. Each pad above takes 2%. The launcher keeps the rest, and must keep at least 10%.
Risks, plainly
- Memecoins can go to zero. A pad, a logo and a fee split change nothing about that.
- Creator fees depend on volume. A coin nobody trades earns nobody anything, however deep it is.
- PADS holds the creator key of every coin launched here. If that key were lost, unclaimed fees would be stuck, though the coin would keep trading.
- Pads are run by their owners. PADS does not vet them. A curated badge is a rule the owner set, not an endorsement.
- pump.fun can change its program. The launch and claim paths are built on the current create_v2 and collect instructions.
- Nothing here is financial advice or an offer of anything. It is a launchpad for launchpads.
